The name Cairnfield House came from the ground it was built on, as “cairn” means a stony field in Scottish Gaelic. This elegant home was built in 1904 and apart from a new roof, the house is in its original state – even including some of the wallpaper.
Several wings have been added to best cater to different client needs, with the client’s comfort and safety always in mind. The most recent wing was added in late 2008. Residents in this wing enjoy large rooms with shared ensuites.
With our policy of adhering to individual preferences, the residents’ self- motivation and self esteem are retained. The residents are able to voice their opinions and comments as well, through the Residents Committee. Between the residents and the staff, you find an excellent rapport – come meet the team!
